About Me

I am currently a Ph.D student in the Cognition & Brain Science program. My interest in cognitive neuroscience stemmed from my curiosity of human behavior. I started taking psychology post-baccalaureate classes part time at a community college not knowing where it would lead and two years later, I am in a Ph. D program that is entirely unrelated to my undergraduate degree. Goes to show, life is full of surprises. I feel very privileged to be given this opportunity to learn and contribute to science.

When I am not working or studying, I am either hiking and camping around North Georgia, lifting heavy things at the gym, slapping the bass, or coming up with puns like these:

A battery was accused of murder by setting his father on fire. He pleaded guilty and was allowed to give a closing statement and this was what he said:

“I didn’t mean to lithium on fire. I know what I did was alkaline, and I deserve to be charged”

You’re welcome.
